Reasons without Rationalism, by Kieran Setiya

Modern philosophy has been vexed by the question "Why should I be moral?" and by doubts about the rational authority of moral virtue. In Reasons without Rationalism, Kieran Setiya shows that these doubts rest on a mistake. The "should" of practical reason cannot be understood apart from the virtues of character, including such moral virtues as justice and benevolence, and the considerations to which the virtues make one sensitive thereby count as reasons to act.

Proposing a new framework for debates about practical reason, Setiya argues that the only alternative to this "virtue theory" is a form of ethical rationalism in which reasons derive from the nature of intentional action. Despite its recent popularity, however, ethical rationalism is false. It wrongly assumes that we act "under the guise of the good," or it relies on dubious views about intention and motivation. It follows from the failure of rationalism that the virtue theory is true: we cannot be fully good without the perfection of practical reason, or have that perfection without being good.

Addressing such topics as the psychology of virtue and the explanation of action, Reasons without Rationalism is essential reading for philosophers interested in ethics, rationality, or the philosophy of mind.

Review
"Kieran Setiya's bold argument concerning practical reasoning deserves serious attention...What makes Setiya's account distinctive is the way he prosecutes his case while engaging with an impressive range of contemporary views on action and practical reason."--Katerina Deligiorgi, The Philosophers' Magazine

"This is an excellent book: original, intricately argued, yet admirably compact. It makes important contributions to both the philosophy of action and ethics."--Matthew Hanser, The Review of Metaphysics

"Kieran Setiya's Reasons without Rationalism is a fascinating, closely-argued, and rewarding book. It is clearly, concisely, and attractively written, and it contains a wealth of perceptive and original insights. The overall vision that emerges from its pages is an important alternative to the more familiar pictures of the relevant issues."--Ralph Wedgwood, Mind

"The book is very well-written, and is full of provocative arguments. . . . This is a book that will reward reflection by those interested in the topics of ethical theory, virtues, practical reason, and action theory."--Brad Majors, Metapsychology Online Reviews

From the Back Cover

"Kieran Setiya urges the radical thesis that the 'should' of practical rationality just is the 'should' of ethical character. His argument turns on taking issue with the orthodox view that practical rationality is exercised under the aspect of the good, and on rejecting all forms of the idea that the nature of practical rationality can be understood from reflection about reason and action as such. Setiya handles his intricate argument deftly, and his book is a pleasure, as well as a challenge, to read. Anyone interested in its topics will need to give it serious attention."--John McDowell, University of Pittsburgh

"It is a great virtue of Kieran Setiya's Reasons without Rationalism that it poses the issue between rationalism and virtue theory in such clear terms. If one accepts the kind of minimalist conception of practical thought that Setiya favors, then there is probably nothing else for good practical thought to be except a disposition to intentional action that is good as a trait of character. Setiya's subtle and provocative development of this line of thought is a substantial philosophical achievement. It offers a distinctive and interesting account of intentional action, and shows how that account provides the basis for a distinctive way of thinking about practical reason, in terms of virtues of character."--Jay Wallace, University of California, Berkeley

"This is a valuable work that contains sharp and interesting arguments. It is original and makes a refreshing contribution to a discussion that, while it fascinates many moral psychologists, threatens to become stale and repetitive. It should also be of interest to ethicists and metaethicists, even though it is not about morality in the narrow sense."--Nomy Arpaly, Brown University

Setiya argues against the common ethical claim that agents always act for what they take to be good reasons. In doing so
By Greg
I first read this book as part of a college philosophy course, and it took us the entire semester to cover the 120 pages in detail. Given its subject, the ideas are appropriately dense, but Setiya's clear outline of his project, simple language and frequent use of everyday examples make the going a little bit easier. In brief, Setiya argues against the common ethical claim that agents always act for what they take to be good reasons. In doing so, he show that good practical thought is synonymous with good character; i.e. the moral skeptic who asks what reason he has to do good just because a virtuous person does so is posing a question with a fundamental flaw. While it still takes me some time to wrap my head around the ideas, the actual argument is straightforward and elegantly done. Reasons Without Rationalism is a significant addition to contemporary metaethical theory.

Science and Polity in France: The End of the Old Regime, by Charles Coulston Gillispie

By the end of the eighteenth century, the French dominated the world of science. And although science and politics had little to do with each other directly, there were increasingly frequent intersections. This is a study of those transactions between science and state, knowledge and power--on the eve of the French Revolution. Charles Gillispie explores how the links between science and polity in France were related to governmental reform, modernization of the economy, and professionalization of science and engineering.

Creating the Cult of St. Joseph: Art and Gender in the Spanish Empire, by Charlene Villaseñor Black

St. Joseph is mentioned only eight times in the New Testament Gospels. Prior to the late medieval period, Church doctrine rarely noticed him except in passing. But in 1555 this humble carpenter, earthly spouse of the Virgin Mary and foster father of Jesus, was made patron of the Conquest and conversion in Mexico. In 1672, King Charles II of Spain named St. Joseph patron of his kingdom, toppling St. James--traditional protector of the Iberian peninsula for over 800 years--from his honored position. Focusing on the changing manifestations of Holy Family and St. Joseph imagery in Spain and colonial Mexico from the sixteenth through eighteenth centuries, this book examines the genesis of a new saint's cult after centuries of obscurity. In so doing, it elucidates the role of the visual arts in creating gender discourses and deploying them in conquest, conversion, and colonization.

Charlene Villaseñor Black examines numerous images and hundreds of primary sources in Spanish, Latin, Náhuatl, and Otomí. She finds that St. Joseph was not only the most frequently represented saint in Spanish Golden Age and Mexican colonial art, but also the most important. In Spain, St. Joseph was celebrated as a national icon and emblem of masculine authority in a society plagued by crisis and social disorder. In the Americas, the parental figure of the saint--model father, caring spouse, hardworking provider--became the perfect paradigm of Spanish colonial power.

Creating the Cult of St. Joseph exposes the complex interactions among artists, the Catholic Church and Inquisition, the Spanish monarchy, and colonial authorities. One of the only sustained studies of masculinity in early modern Spain, it also constitutes a rare comparative study of Spain and the Americas.

Review
"In detail and with an abundance of sources, both graphic and literary, this book follows the major stages of growth in Josephine piety. . . . This book shows the need to study religious art not only on its own aesthetic terms but also as a key participant in and articulator of great (often too great) social, cultural, and religious themes in a given time and place."--Reverend Alvaro Silva, Religion and the Arts

"Among this book's strengths are its engaging prose, impressive corpus of visual images, and emphasis on the connection between St. Joseph's cult and societal and religious ideals in the early modern Hispanic world. . . . This book offers fresh insight into the dissemination and popularity of the cult of St. Joseph in early modern Spain and colonial Mexico."--Joseph F. Chorpenning, Sixteenth Century Journal

"Creating the Cult of Saint Joseph is a refreshing and stimulating contribution to the fields of Spanish and Latin American art history and cultural studies. Villaseñor's combination of colonial and gender theories with art-historical analysis is sure to yield interesting results in future studies of religious art in the Spanish Empire. Her bibliography is an impressive collection of archival material, primary religious texts, and wide-ranging secondary sources; it promises to become an indispensable research tool for students of the period."--Marta Bustillo, CAA Reviews

From the Inside Flap

"The cult of St. Joseph--by far the most important in Spanish-speaking countries in the early modern period--has never been comprehensively examined. Villaseñor Black addresses it thematically, taking a welcome inclusive approach to the art of Spain and the colonies. It is to the author's immense credit that she undertook a study so ambitious in scope and interprets two bodies of data with equal sensitivity. Giving insight into how the art functioned within the society for which it was produced, she makes an important contribution to a field of study previously characterized by extreme conservatism."--Mindy Nancarrow, University of Alabama

"A very valuable contribution to art history, comparative cultural studies, and gender studies, this book is particularly significant in presenting new conceptions about Catholic art, the construction of gender, and the politics of art. While presenting data that has not been available to an English-reading audience, the author turns old sex stereotypes on their heads. The book is based on solid scholarship, but it will appeal to a more general readership interested in art, religion, gender, or the development of a 'Hispanic world.' "--Mary Elizabeth Perry, author of Gender and Disorder in Early Modern Seville

Heartbreaking review
By Crystal
I really want to say I love this book....but sadly I can't. The words and pictures and touch and feel aspects of the book are awesome.
However, this book arrived in poor condition. I had bought 3 of them and all three had pages that looked bent (almost as if they had been exposed to moisture. I think the problem is that the book is made out of a cheap cardboard (not like most board books) and then where the touch and feel pieces are inserted make the book look warped. I was so disappointed because I had bought these as gifts and they just weren't the quality I was expecting. This is the only amazon purchase I ever made that I regreted...usually I am overjoyed at amazon's quality. Not this time.

My 8mo loves this book. We have had it since he was born. The text is lovely (rhyming), the pages sturdy for him to turn and the touch-and-feel parts are perfect. I also think it is the perfect length. We love this book!

My son loves this book!
By P. Brodt
We just purchased this book for our 15 month old son and it is by far his favorite bedtime book right now. The pages are stiff enough that he cannot tear them and the touch and feel aspect of the animals is an added attraction. We have some touch and feel books that he's not really crazy about, but he really likes this one. It is simple, sweet, and not too long. A great book!

Children's Dreams: Notes from the Seminar Given in 1936-1940 (Jung Seminars), by C. G. Jung

In the 1930s C. G. Jung embarked upon a bold investigation into childhood dreams as remembered by adults to better understand their significance to the lives of the dreamers. Jung presented his findings in a four-year seminar series at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. Children's Dreams marks their first publication in English, and fills a critical gap in Jung's collected works.

Here we witness Jung the clinician more vividly than ever before--and he is witty, impatient, sometimes authoritarian, always wise and intellectually daring, but also a teacher who, though brilliant, could be vulnerable, uncertain, and humbled by life's great mysteries. These seminars represent the most penetrating account of Jung's insights into children's dreams and the psychology of childhood. At the same time they offer the best example of group supervision by Jung, presenting his most detailed and thorough exposition of Jungian dream analysis and providing a picture of how he taught others to interpret dreams. Presented here in an inspired English translation commissioned by the Philemon Foundation, these seminars reveal Jung as an impassioned educator in dialogue with his students and developing the practice of analytical psychology.

An invaluable document of perhaps the most important psychologist of the twentieth century at work, this splendid volume is the fullest representation of Jung's views on the interpretation of children's dreams, and signals a new wave in the publication of Jung's collected works as well as a renaissance in contemporary Jung studies.

Review
"Published with the support of the Philemon Foundation, this fascinating work on children's dreams comprises texts from a four-year seminar series at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. This is the first appearance in English of these seminars, and the present volume is considered the first supplement to The Collected Works of C. G. Jung. . . . Presented as an informal exchange in a conversational format, the book is overall more accessible than the concentrated presentation in Collected Works. This invaluable resource will delight scholars of Jung and anyone interested in his works."--J. Bailey, Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute, for Choice

From the Back Cover

"This is Jung on dream analysis in more detail than has yet been published. It reveals Jung as an educator in dialogue with his students in a more casual exchange than a formal lecture but one that shows more depth and spontaneity as a give-and-take exchange. A unique feature of the work is that it presents a detailed exposition of the application of archetypal psychology to the dreams of childhood as they have been remembered by adults."--Eugene Taylor, author of William James on Consciousness beyond the Margin

"A fascinating offering. It is always a pleasure to watch Jung go to work on a dream, and this book gives an invaluable picture of how he taught others to interpret dreams as well as how he approached them himself. Here, the clinician comes forward, and the dreams and their likely significance for the life of the dreamer remain the focus throughout."--John Beebe, editor of Aspects of the Masculine

Jung at Work
By Thomas B. Kirsch
This book shows Jung at work using his methods of dream interpretation. Jung liked the seminar method and had ongoing seminars during the academic year from the early 1920's until 1940. The children's dream seminar has long been available only to close students of analytical psychology and was given between 1936 and 1940. In this seminar he takes dreams of adults who recall their dreams from childhood. So, do not expect to see dreams from children. He shows his magnificently wide range of knowledge of different subjects as he amplifies the meaning of the dreams put forth by seminar participants. The translations from German are by Ernst Falzaeder, a well known psychoanalytic historian, and are excellent. The book is the second to be published by the Philemon Foundation which is undertaking to publish all the unpublished works of C.G. Jung. HIghly recommended for anyone interested in the study of dreams and analytical psychology.

A unique perspective on an emerging Analytical Psychology
By Center For Depth Harris
This book is a unique perspective on the dreams of children, although it must be noted that they are the dreams that adults had as they recall them from their childhood. What is unique about this book is that the introductory lectures about dreams by Carl Jung may be the single best presentation of the classical Analytical Psychology perspective of dreams. Secondly, the book is a powerful presentation of the unique contribution made by Jung. One unique contribution is the illustration of how the forces of the psyche already at play in the young child and how they contribute to the unfolding development of an individual's identity. A drawback is the case presentation method (a plus for others), which can make the material somewhat choppy because of the varied presentations. Overall, however, it is solid and unique contribution to the field of Analyical Psychology and all perspectives work from that group of psychologies under the umbrella of depth psychology.

Jung's Seminar on Children's Dreams
By Denyse Beaudet
Children's Dreams: Notes from the Seminar Given in 1936-1940 by C.G. Jung stands as an important document for anyone interested in children's dreams. The book gathers many voices, those of the seminar participants, and that of Jung, in his role as teacher.

One appeal of the book is its didactic format. The participants in the seminar present children's dreams that Jung assigned to them at the beginning of the semester, which they amplify and for which they suggest meanings. Jung listens to their presentations. In his comments following the presentations Jung often returns at first to the simple facts of the dream, and then further amplifies the dream using relevant archetypal symbols. With a remarkable breadth of knowledge at his fingertips, Jung navigates through the world of myths and symbols with great ease, unearthing their hidden meanings along the way.

In response to a reductive interpretation of a dream, Jung may expand it so as to account for the many dimensions of a dream; when working with a dream with no clear ending, he may look for the potential for development enfolded in it; and when cumbersome amplifications lead away from a dream, again and again Jung brings the focus back to the original text of the dream.

The seminar spans four winters. We can trace a development through the series, which reaches its fullest expression with the third session (1938-1939). Readers will find gems here and there in Jung's spontaneous comments throughout the notes.

Humbled by dreams, Jung confides: "We will never understand this secret of life and this cosmos, it is much too complicated, and the same is true for dreams. They fall like nuts from the tree of life and yet they are so hard to crack," (p.332).

Firewalking and Religious Healing: The Anastenaria of Greece and the American Firewalking Movement, by Loring M. Danforth

"If the Saint calls you, if you have an open road, then you don't feel the fire as if it were your enemy," says one of the participants in the Anastenaria. This compelling work evokes and contrasts two forms of firewalking and religious healing: first, the Anastenaria, a northern Greek ritual in which people who are possessed by Saint Constantine dance dramatically over red-hot coals, and, second, American firewalking, one of the more spectacular activities of New Age psychology. Loring Danforth not only analyzes these rituals in light of the most recent work in medical and symbolic anthropology but also describes in detail the lives of individual firewalkers, involving the reader personally in their experiences: he views ritual therapy as a process of transformation and empowerment through which people are metaphorically moved from a state of illness to a state of health. Danforth shows that the Anastenaria and the songs accompanying it allow people to express and resolve conflict-laden family relationships that may lead to certain kinds of illnesses. He also demonstrates how women use the ritual to gain a sense of power and control over their lives without actually challenging the ideology of male dominance that pervades Greek culture. Comparing the Anastenaria with American firewalking, Danforth includes a gripping account of his own participation in a firewalk in rural Maine. Finally he examines the place of anthropology in a postmodern world in which the boundaries between cultures are becoming increasingly blurred.

"As a contribution to postmodernism, it reveals the possibilities and paradoxes inherent in that movement. As a contribution to the ethnography of ritual healing, the book confirms the basic theory and provides comparative data."--American Anthropologist

interesting study of cross-cultural religious practice
By A Customer
I was sorry to see only one, rather negative, review for this book. I have used it in college classes for several years, and most students enjoy reading it. It is a good example of how studying the same activity (firewalking) in two different contexts (Greece and the U.S.) can shed light on the practice in both cultures. The author is respectful about both Greek Christian and American New Age firewalkers, and reveals how the ritual is transformative for both groups... but, as you might expect, in very different ways! It will also tell you something about how rituals heal, and about medical anthropology.

Alternately interesting and tedious
By A Customer
This is an occasionally interesting study of the interplay among culture, religion, medicine, and kinship in Greece and the United States. I can't help thinking that Danforth could have made his point in 200 pages rather than 300. Also, I dislike a tendency towards legitimization of stigma toward mental illness and it's pharmaceutical treatments.

Not a very good book
By Stephen P Gallion
This book is not what I expected. I thought it was going to show me how to firewalk, instead it talked about other people and groups firewalks. A very boring book and a major disappointment.

Southern Hunting in Black and White, by Stuart A. Marks

For many Southern men living in or close to rural landscapes, hunting is a passion. But it is not a timeless activity in a cultural void. Whether pursuers of fox or raccoon, deer or rabbits, quail or dove, Southern hunters reveal for Stuart Marks complex patterns of male bonding, social status, and relationships with nature. Marks, who has written two outstanding books on hunting in Africa, was born and has long lived in the South. Examining Southern hunting from frontier times through the antebellum era to the present day, he shows it to be a litmus test of rural identity. "Drawing on the latest anthropological theory, statistical sources, extensive interviews, and historical research, [Marks] has crafted a multifaceted account of Southern hunting. Relations of race, property, gender, and region appear in fresh guises in this innovative and intriguing study. The portrayal of the contemporary state of hunting is especially interesting, revealing both the continuities with the past and the new pressures on the sport."--Virginia Quarterly Review

Schizophrenic study of racial, economic and social aspects of hunting
By Arthur Digbee
Marks taught for many years at a small college in a rural county in North Carolina. While there he also made an ethnographic study of hunting in this community. The richest parts of this book look at the racial, economic and social meaning of hunting in his study area. He also provides individual chapters for types of game, such as fox hunting, deer hunting, and small game hunting. Other parts provide background on the political and social history of hunting in the South, game regulations in North Carolina, and other such topics.

Several chapters are quite interesting. But he never pulls the whole book together effectively. The various research styles of the chapters also do not fit together well. They include a historical chapter based on secondary sources, a sociological chapter based on a survey and state data, and ethnographic chapters on particular groups of hunters.

The latter chapters are particularly frustrating, for Marks relies heavily on interviews reported verbatim over several pages. There is too little interpretation, and little attempt to bring together the views of multiple informants.

Still, there is ample good material here, depending on your particular interest.

The Human Immunodeficiency Virus: Biology, Immunology, and Therapy. From Brand: Princeton University Press

The past few years have witnessed an explosive increase in our collective knowledge of the biology of the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). Researchers have acquired new understanding of the virus's biochemistry, molecular biology, pathogenesis, genetics, and immunobiology. Resulting therapeutic advances have significantly prolonged the lives of thousands. Yet, the need to develop better therapies is ever more acute and--given the virus's continued spread through the human population--the need for an effective vaccine is urgent.

These goals can be accomplished only through the experienced synthesis of information from the many disciplines participating in HIV research and through the insights of new investigators. This volume is designed to lower the barriers imposed on investigators by the sheer volume of available information--information that often can be found only in far-flung and specialized journals. It provides, in a single resource, an in-depth overview of the diverse areas that constitute HIV research. The result is a broad introduction for students and researchers new to the field as well as an integrated overview for researchers specialized in particular areas of HIV investigation. The volume will also benefit those seeking technical understanding of the virus's biology, including physicians treating HIV-infected patients.

Each chapter is a comprehensive presentation of one area of current AIDS research--including work on the virus life cycle, epidemiology, genetics, protease and reverse transcriptase inhibitors, receptor and co-receptor interactions, therapeutic targets, clinical treatment, immunobiology, and vaccines--written by a leading researcher in that area. The contributors are Jon P. Anderson, Jan Balzarini, Elana Cherry, Thomas J. Coates, Chris Collins, Jon H. Condra, Mark B. Feinberg, Richard B. Gaynor, Matthias Götte, Daria J. Hazuda, Spyros Kalams, Nathaniel R. Landau, Gerald H. Learn, Norman L. Letvin, James I. Mullins, Willscott E. Naugler, David Nickle, Matthew Rain, Allen G. Rodrigo, Daniel Shriner, Shalom Spira, Mario Stevenson, Todd Summers, Catherine Ulich, Joseph P. Vacca, Mark A. Wainberg, Bruce D. Walker, and Yang Wang.

From The New England Journal of Medicine
This book addresses our knowledge about replication of the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), with a particular emphasis on drugs and compounds that inhibit it. The last three chapters cover nonpharmaceutical prevention strategies, immunity to HIV infection, and the prospects for the development of a vaccine. Current treatment of HIV infection exemplifies the practical outcome of rational drug design. In the 19 years since virologists at the Institut Pasteur first isolated HIV, the detailed understanding of its molecular biology has led to successful drug regimens involving combinations of drugs that inhibit reverse transcription early in the infection cycle and inhibit protein cleavage late in HIV-particle formation. These drugs and their mechanisms of action are addressed in detail in this book, as are the prospects for other targets, including integrase, envelope-receptor interactions, accessory-gene functions, and the blocking of crucial host-cell functions. The reader can therefore gain a rounded view of the science that lies behind drug efficacy. Thus, the book is useful both to infectious-disease physicians and to research scientists. Is it realistic to produce an up-to-date textbook on HIV and AIDS? Emilio Emini has made a brave attempt, persuading several of the best investigators in the field to write authoritative chapters. Some of these chapters will stand the test of time, whereas others already seem dated at the time of publication, not least because few chapters cite references published after 1999. The one chapter that includes references from 2001 might be praiseworthy, but it is more likely that its delayed delivery was what rendered the other chapters obsolescent. The creation of timely textbooks in rapidly developing fields like HIV and AIDS or functional genomics will continue to pose a problem. Academic medical publishers should give more thought to electronic publications that, for a small fee, could be updated annually. Of course, such an undertaking would require an ongoing commitment from the authors, but if they teach their subject, providing annual updates should not be too onerous a duty. This book is not a general textbook on HIV and AIDS. There is relatively little on the pathogenesis of HIV other than immune deficiency -- for instance, on the wasting syndrome or AIDS dementia. Contrary to the blurb on the book's flyleaf, it does not cover epidemiology. The clinical management of opportunistic infections is not addressed at all. But coverage of these topics can be found in other textbooks on HIV medicine. Furthermore, the book is written mainly by North Americans for North Americans. There is scant discussion of delivering efficacious treatment in resource-poor settings, and there is only cursory mention of a crucially important aspect of the benefit of anti-HIV drugs -- namely, to prevent mother-to-child transmission. Another topic I would like to have seen covered is the problem of poor adherence by patients to today's drug regimens, including how poor adherence can fuel the emergence of drug resistance and how it can be overcome through the formulation of timed-release capsules of combinations of drugs. Indeed, although there is much detail on drug-resistance mutations, coverage of the dynamics of drug resistance in relation to viral fitness is lacking -- particularly, coverage of the transmission of drug-resistant HIV, a topic that has featured prominently in recent HIV-AIDS conferences. The editor states that each of the chapters in the book is designed to be as complete as possible and may be read independently of the others. This approach is successful, although there could be better cross-referencing, and the long chapter on the interface between the pathogenesis and treatment of HIV infection repeats much that has come before. It is difficult to judge just how much detail and attribution to provide in a textbook. The introductory chapter on the structure and biology of HIV type 1 (HIV-1) is masterly and succinct, but the pages of text are followed by as many pages of references, none of them more recent than 1998. Thirty references including good reviews would probably be more helpful than 322 outdated ones, since this chapter was not intended to be an account of the historical development of HIV and AIDS discovery. The second chapter on the genetics of HIV-1 stands out as the only one not written with publication in a textbook in mind; it features nine authors from one laboratory and absurdly cites their research grants, as if it were the proceedings of a conference. The book contains black-and-white figures, which would have benefited greatly from redrawing: too many are occluded with various shades of gray in places where hatching would have been clearer. Simply converting color figures into monochrome figures was a poor solution. A little more editing for consistency would also have been helpful. For instance, the introductory chapter lumps together all HIV proteins encoded by genes other than gag, pol, and env as accessory, whereas the chapter on HIV genetics calls them auxiliary genes; only when we reach the chapters on novel therapeutic targets in HIV-1 are they subdivided into regulatory functions (Tat and Rev) and accessory functions (Nef, Vpu, Vpr, and Vif). Overall, this book provides a comprehensive account of anti-HIV drugs and potential drugs and targets, based on what was known as of the end of the 1990s. I shall keep it on my shelf and, no doubt, will occasionally lift it down for reference over the next two to three years. Robin A. Weiss, Ph.D.
